Morning Gymnastics Program

What do keiki learn?

Our morning program has moved to early afternoon. It is ideal for homeschool kids, but open to everyone wishing to train in the early afternoon.  It is designed to accelerate your daughter to advance through a USAG curriculum and when ready, we would prepare her for competition if that is something she wants to pursue.  Competing is not obligatory in our program, but kids will be taught proper form in all skills in order to progress safely.  Having worked in academia for many years, we have seen how the typical PE curriculum fails to instill in children the discipline it takes to develop a lifelong active lifestyle.  Our mission is to help your child reach her highest athletic potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

When are classes held?

Classes are held on Wednesday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are beginning to select candidates for our second Momentum Program Team.  It is a team of girls who will be working on competitive gymnastics skills in the mornings.  Many of the most successful gymnasts in the world who have competed in the Olympics and other elite level competitions have been part of a homeschool program and we are proud to offer this program at Manakoa Gymnastics.  Our homeschool team outscored competitors at a recent local competition.  If you're interested in this program, please e-mail us at manakoagym@gmail.com.
